Furepe Fall Guide Walk
Okhotsk side of Shiretoko peninsula mostly consists of steep cliff whose hight is more than 100 meters.
Furepe Fall is one of curious falls which spout out at the middle of the cliff and run into the sea. Walking along the trail through a spacious grass field to the fall, you will see beautiful Shiretoko Mountains. You may also meet wild animals in the field. Especially, the appearence rate of Ezo-Shika deer is more than 90%!
[Restriction]: No little children under elementary school age. No drunks, no pregnants.
[Meeting]: 1:00pm At the entrance of Furepe Fall trail (beside of Shiretoko Nature Center)
[Time]: 1:00pm-3:00pm ("Early morning tour" is 5:30am-7:00am)
[Itinerary]
Utoro town --(10min. drive)-->Shiretoko Nature Center --> Walking (about 2 hrs) --> Shiretoko Nature Center --(10min. drive)--> Utoro town
[Walking time]: About 2 hours
[Rate]: Adult 3,000yen / Child 1,000yen

-The tour will be held even in rain. Enjoy yourself in the wet wilderness in a rain coat or an umbrella.
-Although the trail is not rough, please tell us if you have any difficulty in walking.
